Upon arrival in Jaipur, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, is known for its grand palaces, historic forts, and well-planned old city. After some time to refresh, begin exploring the city’s most iconic landmarks that introduce you to India’s royal past and architectural brilliance.
Your sightseeing starts with a visit to Amber Fort, dramatically set on a hill overlooking Maota Lake. Explore its courtyards, halls, and mirror-worked chambers. Later, continue to the City Palace, still home to Jaipur’s royal family, followed by the nearby Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing ancient astronomical instruments. End the sightseeing with a photo stop at the famous Hawa Mahal, known for its intricate honeycomb façade.
In the evening, you may choose to visit Chokhi Dhani, a traditional Rajasthani village experience offering folk performances and local cuisine.
Overnight: Jaipur
After breakfast, depart Jaipur by private vehicle for Jodhpur, famously known as the Blue City. The drive takes you through rural Rajasthan, offering glimpses of village life and desert landscapes.
If time permits and you wish to explore more, an optional stop at Pushkar can be arranged. Pushkar is one of India’s most sacred towns, home to the rare Brahma Temple and a holy lake surrounded by ghats. Please note that including Pushkar will make the travel day longer.
Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening exploring the local atmosphere. A walk around the Clock Tower and Sardar Market introduces you to the city’s vibrant street life, spices, textiles, and handicrafts.
Overnight: Jodhpur
The morning is dedicated to exploring Jodhpur’s royal and architectural highlights. Begin with the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's most impressive forts, which towers over the blue houses of the old city. From the fort walls, enjoy panoramic views of the city of Jodhpur. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a peaceful marble cenotaph, followed by a visit to the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, a blend of royal residence and heritage museum.
Before leaving Jodhpur, you may sample popular local treats such as mirchi vada and makhaniya lassi.
In the late afternoon, drive to Udaipur, a city known for its lakes, palaces, and romantic setting.
Today you explore Udaipur, often considered Rajasthan’s most beautiful city. Begin with the City Palace, a massive palace complex overlooking Lake Pichola, filled with courtyards, balconies, and museums. Visit the nearby Jagdish Temple, an important Hindu temple still in active worship.
Later, relax at Saheliyon ki Bari, a historic garden built for royal women, known for its fountains and lotus pools.
In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, offering stunning views of the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. End the day with a peaceful sunset visit to Fateh Sagar Lake.
Overnight: Udaipur
After breakfast, the day is free depending on your departure schedule. You may choose to visit the Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace), located on a hilltop overlooking Udaipur, offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside.
Before departure, enjoy some time shopping for local handicrafts, miniature paintings, and traditional Rajasthani textiles. You will then be transferred to Udaipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
